Van Hool Manufacturing
In 1987 ABC and renowned Belgian motorcoach manufacturer Van Hool formed an exclusive distribution partnership and ABC took delivery of their first Van Hool coach – the T815. The partnership continued to develop and eight years later, Van Hool took a minority interest in ABC Bus Companies, Inc., to form a strategic partnership. Through their exclusive distribution agreement, Van Hool luxury motorcoaches have become the most popular European coach design in the United States and Canada, with close to 6,000 coaches sold to date.
Van Hool is a family owned business founded in 1947 and manufactures approximately 1,600 buses and 4,000 trailers annually, of which approximately 80% are exported worldwide to over 80 countries.
Thor Industries
ABC Companies partnered with manufacturer Thor Industries to develop and deliver a customized midsize bus model to integrate European styling and high performance components.
GCA – General Coach of America
In 2001, ABC Companies partnered with General Coach America, a subsidiary of Thor Industries to develop the M1000 Series coach - a midsize transport motorcoach that combines an economical body-on-chassis.
